![]() Prüfsysteme für die Impulsthermografie Principle of the pulse thermography is the short-term interference of the heat equilibrium in a component. To induce the heat impulse, high performance-Xenon flash lamps are used, heating the investigated object with up to 14000 Joule. Optimum performance is achieved using a fast infrared cameras with a frame rate of up to 880 Hz (256 x 256 pixels) in combination with the short flash duration of 1/1000 second. Very fast heat transport processes can be characterized, even in thin layers with thicknesses of only few µm. ![]() Automated test stand for characterisation of ceramic coatings. |
